People who try to make left turns as the worst possible places annoy the heck out of me. I see people all the time trying to come out of like a fast food joint and make a left turn across two or three fast moving lanes of traffic. At no point, do these idiots assess the traffic flow and think to themselves, “Gee,

People driving in parking lanes and bicycle lanes is a huge problem in Chicago. It is cultural and I’ve never seen it done as frequently anywhere else. Envision the following scenario. You will have say five or six cars lined up at a red light. A fairly wide bike lane on the right and maybe an area that is really

I was an early adopter of converting 1/8 nitro off road cars to electric. Very informative post. I love the tinkering on these cars. Almost more than I enjoy racing them.

Drives me nuts. I see people driving around here in Chicago while it is snowing with no lights on. Cloudy and grey and these dipwads have the ubiquitous silver/grey car you can barely see a block away. They also don’t seem to get that getting flashed by on coming traffic might mean you need to check your headlights.

People who don’t park between the lines.

My BMW c600 maxi-scoot will cruise at 110mph all day long. It is faster than most Harleys.

Preludes were always under appreciated. It was definitely a baby baller car in the 90s. It has aged well.

This doesn’t look that bad imho. Had some steep streets like that in Atlanta where I grew up. The worst I’ve been on is Waipo Valley Road on Big Island, Hawaii. It is 45 degrees. Sheer dropoffs. You can see where cars went off the side. Must have a 4x4 with low gear.

Yeah, here in Chicago there are these hipster Ruckus gangs. They are all modded out. Kind of hilarious but they look like a lot of fun. See quite a few Vespas and Stellas too. I had a Vespa that I loved, but needed something with more power for touring, so I got a BMW.

Aunt bought me an Elite 80 when I was 13. Loved it. Unfortunately, scooters don’t get any respect here in the US. Too many motorcyclists are “compensating” so it is all about loud pipes and unusable speed.

I agree... humans can read the signs that someone may do something stupid. However, I’ve seen a ton of accidents by humans simply not being aware of surroundings / conditions, etc. There is no guarantee even someone paying attention would have been able to avoid this accident.

I don’t think driverless tech can account for the stupidity and unpredictability of man. Sounds like the woman unexpectedly walked into the street not at a crosswalk. Odds are she would have been killed by a human driver too.

Why can’t they just produce a car that is automatic but still retains a traditional stick with a normal shift pattern (none of this + & - stuff) so you can row the gears when you want? Get rid of the paddles and let the engine bounce off redline. Only thing missing would be the clutch pedal.

I guess, but I don’t think it helps sales or does the car any favors no matter how great it may be. Sure the purist may not care, but the LC just lacks character to me. I’d buy an older model simply because they have more character.

I really wish Toyota would give the LC the TRD Pro treatment to make it look more rugged looking. It just looks too camryfied.

I saw the v90 wagon at Chicago car show over the weekend. I’m really close to just trading in my Jeep GC. Absolutely beautiful cars. Even my wife who isn’t much of a car nut was really impressed with the styling and interior.

I’ll gladly pay slight premium to not have to waste my time with these dealer games. I bought my last car using TrueCar and the experience was worth whatever small premium I paid.

Funny. I ride BMWs and also have a Jeep GC. I have a better dealership experience at my BMW motorcycle dealer than I do at the dealer for my $55k jeep.

Do the GMC sales figures include their fleet sales? 80% of the Denali’s I see around here are fleet/limo drivers.

My father in law is a Porsche fanatic and has owned about 6 or 7 of them since the early 80s. His current is a 996 that he daily drives. I think he picked it up for less than $20k a few years ago. Engine was replaced and he had a few other things done to the car. It is practically a brand new car. The interior is
