How long did it take for you to get pre-check? After what happened at SeaTac, I considered doing it too.

HNL should definitely have a lower rating, at least for its lack of amenities and infrastructure. Grew up in Hawaii and I swear that airport has barely changed since I was a kid in the ‘80s. Everything is really run down, there’s not too many dining options, and they didn’t even have Wi-Fi or Uber pick ups til six…

I thought the same thing — was just there a few months ago after not visiting for a year, and the changes at SeaTac (because of construction) that happened during that time were huge.

I’m the exact same way! I’m pretty frugal with most purchases and do my best to not live beyond my means, but fine dining is one of the ways that I treat myself (and I’ll happily charge my credit card to do it). I would totally consider that a selling point and happy side effect of my seltzer drinking, because I live here in the tropics where the cockroaches FLY and will dive-bomb you.

So true — when I lived in SoCal dating apps were great and had a wide range of people. Now that I’m in a small town, the only men that seem to use them are active duty military men.
