I find your comment interesting, because I’m from another island (Oahu) that had similar issues, despite us having an urban center (Honolulu) and somehow managing to cram more than 1 million people into such a small place.

I got my Biossance sampler from Sephora a couple of weeks ago, and I love the full-size squalane eye cream that came with it! It absorbs right away, is fragrance free, and doesn’t migrate to other parts of my face when I’m sleeping, which is a problem I’ve had with other eye creams and serums.

I agree, it’s such an exploitative industry and a part of me hates that it’s been glamorized. Aside from all the other BS that servers and other restaurant workers have to deal with, verbal abuse and harassment will come from customers, too.
