This is so true! I’m a hapa woman and I’m 5'7". Back home in Hawaii, I’m considered tall (especially for a woman). But in my current city in California (that is predominantly white) I’m on the average/short side.

This is usually the case when someone protests too much on social media.
Came here to say this! This suit is for maybe going to a pool party ... to do nothing and lounge next to the pool but not actually swim (or even wade). I also love the ocean and grew up bodysurfing, boogie boarding, surfing and kayaking too, and I’ve had just about every suit mishap happen to me over the years, like…
I went to UW in the late 90s and graduated in the early aughts. It was cool at that time to root for the Huskies, but you were looked down on if you wore a Seahawks jersey. I remember only seeing them when visiting rural parts of Western Washington, Tacoma, or suburbs outside of the city considered working class.
Does she tend to date men who are not her equal, or who are really insecure?
San Diego here.
Holy fuck. I live in Southern California where the risk of running into a rattlesnake on a canyon trail or even a suburban sidewalk is very high. They leaned INTO the bush to take a selfie? I’m amazed they didn’t get bit
Same, and I have extended family and several longtime friends who live there (and moved there, willingly).
I’ve heard great things about this skin care line, thanks for the tip!
What sunscreen do you use? I recently picked up Coppertone’s mineral sunscreen for sensitive skin (I can’t use anything with fragrance on my face) for beach days. It’s one of the few sunscreens that doesn’t sting my eyes while swimming.
Oh man. So he would say “let’s go out to dinner” and suggest/pick the day and time, but not provide at least one idea for a place to go. Awesome!
Not a bad idea. And didn’t Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo do the same thing?
I love living alone, too, and can appreciate it even more ever since my ex boyfriend moved out. Instead of moving I decided to reclaim my place as my own again. But since I’m not an introvert, it did (and still can, on occasion) feel lonely at times. What helps me a lot (and it especially helped after the break up) is…
I had been with my ex for a while before he moved in to my place. We got along well and had a genuine friendship on top of intimacy, and we enjoyed being around each other. I thought I knew him. After he moved in, I was amazed at what came to the surface, like how fiscally irresponsible he was, along with other things…
What’s been popular here in San Diego are arcades with old 80s games that play 80s music. Feeling really old now!
That is fine. I’m sure your husband won’t try to wear them to a semi-decent bar or restaurant. That happens quite a bit here in San Diego.
Many men in San Diego have not received this memo. They will wear or try to wear cargo shorts at restaurants and bars (with the exception of the few establishments here that actually have and enforce a dress code). I’ve had a few dates where the guy showed up in cargo shorts, at places where no woman would even think…
Dayum!
That is an amazing headline. Would read.
He unfortunately has a good resume, one that many writers would envy:
