I'm not a fan of either team, but somehow I feel like this level of fandom deserves a star.

If you don't know, then you clearly didn't have one of these when you were 10. . .

There really isn't a "wrong fry shape" - that's like saying "no thanks, I don't want that pile of cash because the bills are the wrong denomination."

It's interesting that even though this post is largely about McCloud and his talent at using this medium, about his finesse and his ability to deftly use sequential art to tell a compelling story, most of the replies here are just people being convinced that everyone wants to know if they would take the bargain or

Sorry I was trying to post this . . .

Well, if the results of this study are to be acknowledged, then science would seem to disagree with your assertion about christian parents (at least collectively), irrespective of your beliefs.

See, this kind of thing sounds a lot more like sexual assault that maintenance sex. I'm truly only speaking for myself here, but I don't understand how someone can do those things to a person they love. Probably I'm not macho enough or whatever.

My wife's experience was something like this - her agnogstic/atheist/disinterested in religion parents sent her to, I believe it was Episcopal school, simply because it was one of the most well-respected schools in Kyoto, and they could. Way ahead of you . . .

Not so funny meow, is it?

"Like a freshly milled baseball bat."

Me too - this probably means we are Bipolar.

I'm thinking it crosses over into whining when you complain about those things over and over, or all of them - everything is wrong, nothing is ever right, that kind of thing.

+1 for Catch-22 reference. The comment was just icing on the cake.

You are completely right - this whole post is a scandal. . . it's like . . a. . .

I might have more sympathy for the girls in these stories and the awkwardness of being put on the spot by these "grand gestures" if so many of the stories didn't end with the "victim" mocking and publicly humiliating the guy. I understand saying no, even hell no, but the rest is uncalled for.

I don't think it would be unreasonable to say to Kearse (or Allen), "Look, I want to do the right thing here, but 20k will feel my kids while I'm in jail. You can have first chance to buy, but I need to get paid."
