A quote from The Mirren might help them? Or maybe not.

Wait, I thought feminism was turning women into Goddess-worshipping fat Birkenstock-wearing hairy witches? Now feminism wants women to be sexualized and objectified? WHICH IS IT? I AM SO CONFUSED.

I was scrolling down, thinking, "Please let me be the first one to mention Don Cherry."

Of course, some people are always bound to complain. Who knows, maybe once we have achieved true, unwavering equality (close, but not quite there yet), freedom of choice of names can make a comeback.

It is. It is even more when knowing that the reform came in a 1981 bill (Quebec's Charter of Rights), which meant, among other things, to protect equality between men and women. Back then, Quebec's Catholic Church dominated history and its subsequent downfall warranted such measures and the law was never challenged

We also put Mr. and Mrs. Dad and Mom LastName on our invitations, and addressed all envelopes the same way. Nothing chaps my hide like receiving mail addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Husband'sName LastName.

I happily love in Quebec, Canada, where taking on your spouse's name is not allowed by law and generally seen by society as old-fashioned.

at first i was all 'UH HOW WOULD A BUSINESS BE A VAMPIRE, IDIOT?!" but then i remembered corporations are people too.

I promise not to write an excel spreadsheet of all the times you didn't give me the sexin' I want and send it to your work email.

Ugh. I've watched all her pieces and while I don't agree with all her points that's a good place to start a debate/discussion, not start a campaign of fear and intimidation.

Um..yes... I too will only be having ah...one...bottle this ....uh entire fall.

I had no idea Margaret Atwood was getting into crime fiction. I take it this is a synopsis of her new novel. I want to reject that this is anyone's reality.

This only makes me love pandas more, for being smart enough to trick the humans.

I think that's definitely part of it. She's pretty nontraditional it seems what with attachment parenting thing and the ultra-smart PhD thing. I actually don't mind this dress as much as a lot of people. It seems like she doesn't dress like this that much and is like "ok fine this works." I have always liked her and

This is unacceptable. She looks like she's standing up straight and it still bunches. Bad fit.

That was awesome. I'm having fun imagining these are what the Diva Cup company would do if they decided to run commercials.

I kinda love it? But I hate it. But I love it. I think the proportions are just a bit off for her height/body type. The cleavage cut needs to be an inch or two higher or lower to balance her out. She looks very compact. But beautiful, as always (ugh).

POLL: If you were forced to choose the lesser of two evils and wear either Britney's or Katy's dress, which would you choose?

This is why I think the only governmental system that really works is a blend of capitalism and socialism. Go too far in the direction of socialism, and things like Venezuela happen. Go too far in the direction of capitalism, and things like America happen.

And you know what? Everyone needs to stop fucking hating on vaginas. I'm really tired of this shit. Vaginas are awesome. They're self-cleaning, like ovens. They're strong enough to hold a tiny tampon in AND deliver a baby (sometimes ones that are over 10 pounds!). They can take a fucking beating and be perfectly fine.
