Man... that mole really pops out.

I own an Apple TV and love it. I played around with Google TV for some time and while it offers many interesting features, it's way to complicated for the average consumer.

@Zanzan42: ROTFLMAO! Good one Will!

The material looks like it could be an iYacht, but the design looks more like Dell. Too stubby and not streamlined enough for Apple's taste.

"As a user, I prefer to sacrifice the superficial and truly horrible customization that all these phones offer—or rather, inflict on the user—in favor of a single approach, like Apple or Microsoft's."

Google TV: $299

"Start your photocopiers, Cupertino, because Apple TV is now looking dated."

@Master_Soda: Well, it's easier for a company to loosen restrictions than it is for them to tighten them. Apple is in a good position and I believe they made the right move in regards to Flash. I'm a Flash developer and iOS devices owner and I still believe this.

Nice, I'm sure they'll sell well if priced properly - cheap without contract obligations.

@Yahweh Took My Prepuce: I don't Apple should demand publishers follow a certain formula when it comes to digitizing their magazines. I just think the magazines with more interactivity will win over the PDF-like versions I listed.

@ddhboy: Yea... I was disappointed when Apple blocked third-party application tools, however I understand Apple's reasoning too.

Magazine publishers need to do more than simply offer PDF-like versions of their magazines.

Love 'em or hate 'em... you gotta admit, the Steve Jobs and Apple story is an amazing one.

Epic Citadel looks great on the iPad. Can't wait to see what others come up with. Hoping Cyan can deliver some new titles.

Would LOVE to see this come to the iPad!

@Stillwagon: I never said Google didn't try. However, their Nexus One plan didn't work out and now telecoms (as well as various hardware manufacturers) have more control over the Android experience.

Google is basically giving power back to the telecoms - something Apple managed to put into the hands of consumers. The telecoms decide which Android OS to release/update and what extras to enable or disable.
