Perhaps you are right when it comes to comparing the hardware, but how about when comparing OS + available software?

Hotspots and pay-as-you-go plans are what we want! Many of us only need this functionality when traveling or away from easily accessible WiFi.

@justinpe: I really see it as Apple's way of getting at the free content networks are offering via their websites now. Google TV planned on letting the user tap that content via the web and several networks have blocked them. An app would offer those same networks more control over design, interactivity, content,…

@justinpe: Make that low-low-end iPad since they start at 16gb. However, you could still fit a decent amount of apps. Most of the heavy content gets streamed with network/show apps anyhow.

@justinpe: There's 8gb RAM and it's running iOS - basically a low-end iPad without the screen. Probably won't see any action until 2nd half of 2011 though.
