@Stymie99: Jobs certainly borrowed the desktop metaphor and mouse idea from Xerox SPARC, but that OS hardly saw the light of day.
@ddhboy: I wouldn't say Apple engineers stole most their ideas from UNIX engineers... NextOS and eventually OS X were built atop a UNIX core, gained UNIX certification and wide support from UNIX users. It doesn't compare to MS v. Apple.

One of the really great things about this app is parties and friends with iPhones or iPod touches!
I was surprised that Apple didn't update their Remote, Gallery or iDisk apps either before or soon after the the iPad launch. I use all these apps on the iPhone and their fantastic.

The original iPod took 7 quarters to ship a million units. With the initial iPhone, it took only 70 days to reach the 1 million unit rate. For iPad, it reached the one million mark in under 30 days, and the iPhone 4 shipped 1.7 million units in the first three days.
