I’m trying my best here for you AVC, but damn this is one ugly layout. Can we put the old AVC site in the unused left portion of the screen?
I don’t think there is such a thing as a Kinja user specific to one site.
Or even just a way to read a comment thread? Showing just top level comments first invites a lot of repetition, which is overall not good for the commenting community.
Any update on when AV Club non-Disqus legacy accounts (such as mine) can be claimed? I wasn’t sure if this was going to be a “sometime in the next couple of days” thing or a “whenever we figure out how to do that” timeline.
This is Kinja, you can’t make changes! Next you’ll be asking to be able to delete your account.
So who exactly seems to have such a love affair with blank, white space? Margin’s people, margins.
It’d be great if you all could add the basic ability of letting us change our account password.

Just move the monuments to Kinja. Nobody will ever see them again
Fuck Kinja
congratulations nipple dick

Wait, so I am listed as Following the AV Club, but I need the AV Club to follow me too in order to complete the set up?
We can merge our Kinja and Discus-Kinja accounts?
My stuff is still greyed when I first post it.

Personally I haven’t merged my accounts yet because, amongst other things, they haven’t yet opened it up for merging “classic” accounts, which I also used throughout the Disqus years (because Disqus never could make up its mind whether I was logged in as a Disqus user or a Classic user and would often surprise me after…
If your Kinja-kinja account was NOT a burner - meaning your login was tied to a Google, Facebook, or Twitter account - then somewhere on a Kinja help page there are instructions on how to merge two Kinja accounts into one. Alternatively, you could try manually logging out of this Google account and then manually…
