The original 426 was the Elephant motor, this is Hellcat related so they made it the Hellaphant. It is a homage to the original.

I saw one of these on Craigslist for $22k. I guess I should have bought it.

I’m surprised you did not recommend the 911 buyer get a 996.2 Turbo - it is in his price range, and should be safe from the IMS concern.

If fear is your goal, get a torsion bar 911 turbo, ~300 hp and it is very very scary.
