That surely makes an even stronger case for taking the trade. The rumor I think was Kendricks, Boykin and Bradford + draft picks offered to the Bucs. That immediately improves what you say is a thin roster, and you work with Bradford/Glennon for the QB position.

Remember too that the Bucs almost certainly turned down an offer for a wagonload of picks and a bunch of Eagles players (Bradford, Boykin, and at least one other if I recall) for their #1 pick.

- This is good Kinja

Kinja-snark is fine, even for stories like this. But it was originally posted as pure snark-bait; when it should at least have been accompanied with helplines etc, for all the reasons being set out here in support.

We’re almost on the same page. I wrote how scoring TD would secure the win and how that is the biggest impact on win probability. I get that. At some point, however, with a certain amount of time on the clock, you’re going to back your defense to prevent a TD. When is that point? A minute left on the clock?

See my comment below. There are some specific contagion effects associated with reporting on suicides. And look, obviously, they don't have to have this as a standard, but common-decency and empathy for people suffering terribly from depression should be a good enough reason to do so.

Reporting on suicides can cause contagion (no-one quite knows why, but the evidence is overwhelming). Which is why most media guidelines write it in that helplines etc MUST be included in the article - usually at the end of the piece.

Seriously, Deadspin, before all the snark pours in, for stories like this you should be noting the suicide prevention hotline number and other relevant resources.

- “Ferrell as having “no ability and a great clubhouse presence,” which, given that the last full-length movie of his I saw was Anchorman 2, I am tempted to apply to his entire career.”

- “the cowboys started at the 28, and had to go 72 yards to WIN the game. That’s not much harder than going 64 yards from your own 1 yard, and instead of tying you win.”

By kicking the FG, it means the Cowboys need a TD to win. So that decision was fine. Giving them up to an extra minute to score that TD was not smart.

Don’t sleep on the Diane Sawyer interview of the band.

Victorians were also big into pedophilia. Consenting adult buggery was a crime, but kiddie fiddling was not.

I generally don’t like writing short notes - I feel three sentences are a bit dismissive, so I end up writing more and that takes time more time than I’m prepared to spend etc etc... I’ll call you if I have to say thanks, I’ll write a longer email or letter for genuine condolence, otherwise I’ll do nothing.

I was referring mainly to Tebow; the reasons for RG3’s problems are definitely more numerous, and many not of his own making.

I mean late.
