I can partially agree with you on one thing, though: the "dream shot" label is really confusing. Go into any gay bar in America and you'll likely find two people of the same gender kissing at some point.

The fact that other companies choose not to build their own network and compete with us doesn't make it a monopoly. I don't know what the laws are in your state, but in mine they are free to compete if they want.

This is kind of my point, right here. No one forces you to buy anything. You want something, you pay for it. If you can't afford it, you don't.

I honestly think that I would. I like to try to live within my means and I understand that it's not necessary for me to have a huge cable package or the highest internet speed.

I'm 35 and just recently (within the last couple of years) got my own cell phone. It's not a smart phone and I don't pay for a data plan.

What you don't realize is that those "crap" channels are forced down our throats (as a company) as well. Whether it's by the networks themselves, which bundle their channels together when selling them to us, or by our own customers who are OUTRAGED when small crap channels like that go missing.

I work for a cable company and let me tell you- it bugs the hell out of me to hear people whine about wanting a lower rate, but not be willing to drop any of their services.
