My first reaction was these were really stupid questions, as testosterone, in and of itself, has no real bearing on what “is” or “isn’t” a “woman” (or a “man” for that matter).

The people who are most responsible for him being in office are Black women. I doubt very many of those Black women who voted for him in were expecting him to be a Republican.

This is exactly it. The Dems don’t want actual progress or change. They just want someone not as uncouth as Trump to be president. 

A major problem, though, is that a lot of people who are aware of the inequality still believe in some misguided notion of “meritocracy.” Sure they’re being served scraps, but, hey, the people with all the steak deserve that steak.

Of course any sane person wants that. But sane people with at least average intelligence realize that throwing another “moderate” neo-lib out there because it’s “pragmatic” will give us another four years of Trump.

I already acknowledged I was in the minority. What interests me is not what a lot of people like. A lot of people like to eat McDonalds. A lot of people smoke meth. A lot of people are Lakers fans. A lot of movie critics liked The King’s Speech. What does that have to do with me?

The last 30 mins and the Spider-Man parts were pretty fun. It’s a bland, self-serious mess of a movie besides that. In 2019 they actually went with the “he killed my parents” twist without any real buildup and people continue to think that’s ok.

I rewatched Ragnarok recently. It was probably in my top 5 after I first watched it. But with some distance, it’s kind of a mess of a film. I like what it did with the characters though. Thor went from being stale dinner roll of The Avengers, to, like, the piping hot, fresh garlic bread.

It’s basically the only Marvel movie with anything approaching real stakes. That makes it number 1 for me by default. 

I’ve been hot-taking for years that the two Captain America sequels are amongst the worst of the MCU, and finally someone with an actual platform agrees with me.
