Most Dems do vote in most elections. But liberals seem to forget that something like 73-percent of the population are not Democrats. It doesn’t mean that they don’t agree with or are sympathetic to liberal ideals. It just means they don’t like democrats. Which I can relate to.

Meh. Some days having kids is the only joy that keeps me going man. Marriage... yeah, I admittedly second-guess that one all the time. But kids, kids are pretty awesome.

Conservative think that corporations are people but that government isn’t.

As a second Bruce Lee superfan, if we’re being honest, this movie has already been made dozens of times with varying levels of sophistication and success. Van Damme alone remade this movie at least 6 times and Bloodsport was pretty good.

Yep. Obama governed as a “centrist” but ran as a populist and crushed both McCain and Romney. And McCain was one of the most popular politicians of the past 50 years or so.

More registered democrats voted for Trump than third party or than abstained.

This is straight out of the liberal playbook, though. We focused on PC strategies for so long, that they’re just throwing it back at us. I mean, it’s obvious Gunn was joking and I don’t think he should’ve been fired since Disney has let him make movies since the tweets, but some of those tweets are really bad.

I probably wouldn’t believe that. But I would believe it was his idea to call one of the rescuers a “pedo.”

You don’t want people to steal soda, don’t mark it up 5000-percent. Profit margins are more secure when you’re not being a douche to your consumers. It’s a pretty simple concept.

Man, about 17 years ago or so, I worked concessions at a huge movie theater. One of my jobs was refilling the bags of flavored corn syrup that feed into the fountain dispensers. Those bags of syrup cost the movie theater—again, about 17 years ago— about $60 and they produced somewhere in the vicinity of 250 cups of

They’ll just attribute it to the “deep state” or that the lying media used CGI to create the scene, or something.

It’s a major leftist thing now. We shit all over the dems every chance we get, even on the rare occasion when they’re right, because... who the fuck knows. It appeals to our moral superiority or some shit.

Yeah, I get that. I mean it leaned into Nolan-goofy, not typical movie-goofy. Which, at least it was committed. That goes a long way for me. But I get if it doesn’t for anyone else.

It’s a difficult discussion because while I understand the criticisms and think they’re valid, I also think there are some weird lines being drawn.

I always much preferred Rises because you can tell Nolan just sort of went, “You know, these movies are goofy as hell” and kind of leaned into the ridiculousness.

It brought the “grimdark.” Took itself really seriously, which we now know is really what matters to a lot of folk. It did have a number of effective scenes, though. I just felt like it didn’t add up to much and very little of it made any sense.

Yes! Exactly. That’s why I love that movie. You can tell a lot about a person based on their response to that movie.

Wolf of Wall St. is an examination of the viewer’s own toxicity. It doesn’t let the viewer off the hook. With Goodfellas and Casino, he knows that many, if not most viewers, will actually be intrigued by the lifestyles presented. We all desire to have that kind of power, money, freedom, etc. But, in the end, that kind

Well, it’s mostly steroids, but, yeah. Exactly.

Running on spineless, centrist, neo-liberal bullshit is what got us Trump.
