Does all of Mitsubishi count?

Keep in mind (unless you already know this) that the 4.2 has the lovely cam sprockets that are a press-fit, and requires the special tooling to get everything aligned properly - there’s a pin that goes in the side of the block to lock the crank, and a bar that aligns the cams - then the belt can be replaced. The previous owner claims that a cooling system flush was already done. The squeaky clean pink coolant seems to support that.

Maybe the timing belt change is 75% of the labor to get to the water pump?

Obligatory:

Saturn died long before the bankruptcy, when it became just another division instead of the unique proposition it was in the 90s. By 2008-09 it was easy to dispose of.

My wife had an 01 Saturn SC when we first met. I went to change the oil after hearing she hadn’t had it done in a while. Nothing came out. The car was a tank and just kept going, slowly grinding itself to bits, but never stopping.

That’d be my one hang-up at this price, especially with 175k. How much oil is it burning? My bro has a customer with over 300k on an automatic wagon of this generation, was burning a quart every 300 miles(!) or so, he used some GM Top-End cleaner to try and free up the rings a bit, cut the oil consumption to about a

I hear griping about the quality of the interior materials, but I look at the pix and see a 20-year-old interior that looks no worse now than it did on Day One. So scratch that particular demerit, it’s invalid.

Keep the oil topped up (you will need to) and drive for another 100,000 miles.

$3000 for a running, manual transmission car with a kinda neat third door and a well kept interior?

I recently got trained on one of these:

The powered kind, yes

Bonus points: It’s a manual!

its probably something the lawyers require. we have a powered pallet jack here and you had to take training on it before they let you use it.

Lets see, Firetrucks ( various International/ Pierce) Chevy 4500 express base ambulance and school bus, motorcycles, small 12' boat, and that one time I got to take the controls of a twin engine 6 passseneger plane for like 5 minutes, super awesome.  Literally I need to drive something supercar and I’ll have made 10yr

I used to race riding mowers. They were barely mowers when we got done and could go 50+ MPH. We one time wanted to see how fast all of us in the racing group could go down the main street of the no nothing little town we held events in. There was one of those motion sensor signs. We got almost to 60MPH, which is scary

You can get certified for a pallet jack?

I am certified on all CROWN powerlift equipment like the forklift, cherry picker, and pallet jack
