I love wearing my VW pendant when I am in the mood.

Filters aren’t going to undo the effects of heat on the oil, and that concept isn’t exactly revelatory...

I’m a sucker for big red calipers

This brings back fond (not sarcasm) memories of the 1994 Lumina Euro 3.4 sedan in red I drove in HS/college. It’s 210 hp was no joke back then. It was just like this, except the paintwork was perfect, because my dad is an obsessive amateur detailer, and it wasn’t missing the center caps on the wheels.

I think if a clean Z34 showed up, I’d give it some serious consideration.

The best Lumina was the 1998-1999 LTZ model with the 3.8 series 2 V6 and leather seats, sunroof and dual exhuast. Had one as my first car and it was a blast. Didn't look like anything special but 200hp to a 16 year old was plenty.

It was definitely an appearance package, and I believe it meant you also got the V6, and presumably some standard equipment thrown in.

Cole Trickle approves, I’m sure.

I would believe that it’s the best Lumina though, by merit of still being in what appears to be one piece, not having immediately visible rust and not being in a junkyard anywhere. It’s a low bar to clear.

So did “Euro” just mean “no chrome” back in the 90s? Because I see nothing about the styling of this car that looks European to me, other than the fact that I might expect to find one fitting in on the streets of Budapest, unwashed for several months, with a dubious story as to how it arrived there.

Shocks and struts. Nothing transforms a car quicker than a good shock/strut.

Truck Nutz.

Brakes.

With road rage so common, I suppose it was only a matter of time before we advanced to water rage.

Gotta use the chocks. For safety.

See this is why you don’t put your Camry floor mats in your Cessna 208 floatplane. He’s just lucky that de Havilland was there to stop him before he careened into the Blockbuster one dock over.

I’ve done quite a bit of flying in the Caravan, (and some in the float version) and this is just bizarre. The only thing that makes sense to me is the guy on the dock was supposed to help push the 208 away from the dock to get around the Otter, but a communication mixup led to the crunch.

Yes, quite a few of them die.

In America, the Republicans would deny that the flooding is real, even when their own constituents are drowning.  Trumpers would volley death threats against NOAA and weathercasters for telling us more rain is coming and to get to high ground.  And the majority of ‘muricans would refuse a lifejacket or rescue raft

If this were in Texas, people would have started shooting at the floodwater or something.
