I am a Swede who is not into American ironmongery yet even i know the mustang SVO.

Ive been where you are but after getting a child (i know i am lame) i cant seem to get over wanting the car to be atleast a bit safe. i cant see myself getting a car built before like 2005 now.

I had the euro version of the spec B that came with the 3.0 boxer 6. granted not as powerful as the fourbanger but much nicer sound and still one of the nicest driving wintercars ive owned. Sadly i sold it in a weak moment when i realized i mostly rode my BMW F800R everywhere instead.

hm what if the Mosler Consulier was successive enough for Mosler to also make a SUV

If you want rugged simplicity for the apocalypse id go for a Gen1 Rav4 21 mpg city and good enough offroad for most scenarios.

They probably want to be able to deliver a vehicle that works more than 20 min at a time

its a race car... and if you read the article they make it clear its not based of a P1.

we did one better at my school we put our gym teachers Renault Twingo and put ontop of 4 concrete barriers so it stood on its wheels ontop of the ridges of the barriers.

counter counter point. it is still funny. The people flipping the cars are assholes and that the thing they did was funny does not excuse their actions one bit but it is still funny that it was done.

we where 14 people in a SEAT leon one particularly wet evening in my youth. and me and two other guys where in the back seat in the bottom as we where the biggest...

I’m sorry I just had a mental picture that I needed to put into paint

I’m here for the whiny contrarian bit. I’m sorry the design is overwrought and busy without being fun. sort of like all of the silly expensive watches that feels the need to justify their expense by showing of the mechanics at the expense of function

Im not a fan to be honest. To me it looks like someone crashed a bike and tried to do a Cafe racer for as cheap as possible. I can almost smell the rattle canned paint and glitching Temu instrument cluster.

Disagree. The more touringesque R1200CLC was more geared towards the bigger Harleys. the R1200C with its lighter weight and “sportier” feel was more geared towards the smaller Sportster.

similar rake small fenders and wraparound read fender. similar buckhorn bars and similar headlight with cowl

Absolutely though to be honest I’ve never ridden a Valkyrie or a royal star so ill hold of on saying they are better but i am open to bellieve that they are by most objective measures better than the FL

I dont think i can agree here. chrome heads has never as far as i know been a thing on Beemers before the R1200C and that front rake is alot more sportster than like R71 or R60. Same with the buckhorn bars and small fenders

Okay i think i misspoke. With copy i mean more in spirit than an actual carbon copy. but the front fender rake and headlight cowl together with the short stubby exhaust and rear fender makes it look quite alot like a Sportster.

Controversial point here but BMW in the late 1990's early 2000's made a surprisingly good copy of the harley sportster. It handled and stopped alot better and to my book looked better. Now ofcourse this didnt matter as the harley boys wanted a harley and the people who wanted the look but didnt care about the brand
