He could still find out in her future for all she knows.

God of course it was! I probably shouldn't have watched the episode today because my mind is elsewhere.

Doesn't he rely on his hands for that?

Yeah what RTD did to her was unforgivable, really. As a character she deserved better.

Oh yeah I totally agree that's the dream. But in a straight choice between overstaying your welcome like Clara, or leaving them wanting more like Donna, I'd choose the latter (big paycheques notwithstanding.)

Oh I'm with you, I'd like to see Bill stay longer if she stays as likeable as she is now, and would have loved for Donna to stick around for another series (Martha I liked well enough but wasn't clamouring for more of her), I'm just trying to think of possible positives to only being on for the one series. :)

The whole episode felt like a Doctor Who/Black Mirror crossover.

Also staying for only 1 season guarantees she won't overstay her welcome like other companions and, if she continues to be great all season, put her in Donna Noble's camp of "wish she'd stayed longer" which is the best any actor can hope for when they leave a show.

I thought the same thing! Possibly just because I'd love to see them return.

Buffy's first season wasn't THAT much worse than 2 onwards. It wasn't great but you could see the seeds of greatness being sewn.

He was oddly familiar to me too (one of those "have I actually seen him before or am I just convincing myself that I have?), and I think it must be because he played Runcorn in the first Deathly Hallows film.

Of the ones I watch:

I love that Mace's heroic death mirrored his supposed heroism at the Sokovia Accords.

Thank God she didn't die before it was painted.

PONCHO!

Yeah I didn't read her that way at all.

It was also a rare example of Moffat playing with time that didn't end up just being a time loop.

That was brilliant because I'd spent the preceding minutes wondering if and when Bill would say it.

I blame the mixing and inclusion more than the music itself.

As soon as she said "sa'ink like 'at" I thought other nationalities would be turning on the CCs.
