Conditioning, man. Since Lost, if not before, we've cone to expect twists, turns and reveals from our tv shows to the point that it becomes a natural part of discussing, even thinking about them.

I never thought White Bear was supposed to be morally ambiguous. I can't imagine there being a reasonable argument that the theme park was anything other than heinous.

Plus they were clearly taking advantage of an oportunity to say things that they hadn't been able to say in a long time. It's not that they wished to be that way 24/7.

And honestly it's not even close. The DC shows are enjoyable enough but AoS is in another league entirely.

Yeah Boreanaz was already looking much older than the 19 year old he was supposed to be, as was lampshaded in the show.

On of the most impressive things about the series is how it manages to consistently subvert expectations without actually feeling like it's trying to do that. It seems effortless.

That's a fair point but I still don't see anything from Kara's end. Yes she believed in Lena without any evidence but hey, she's Supergirl. She definitely seems to view Lena as just a friend.
