That might be the best in-universe justification of inaccurate location I've ever heard.

Maybe that's why Grodd took him but Harry wasn't able to make one?
Yeah I saw that figure and I have to say it surprised me. $200m worldwide!
She saw her dad's face and reacted instinctively without engaging the logical side of her brain, I wouldn't read any more into it than that.
Hmm maybe it's because I was a kid at the time so I was the target audience, but it definitely seemed like it was massive. I'd be surprised if anyone I know hasn't seen it or at least knows about it.
Also, Chicken Run was huge (HUGE) in the UK. I have no idea how it performed internationally but to say it "never broke out" made me do a double-take because over here it was inescapable for a good long while.
I just don't see the romantic chemistry between Lena and Kara that people keep mentioning. To me it's very clearly a friendly chemistry.
There's no shame in that.
:(
No but we are still the same species, a species which teaches that violence is wrong while simultaneously making people millionaires because they're good at punching other people in the head. Human nature is what it is, and I believe that all it would take is a subtle shift in societal outlooks (if that phrase even…
I'd say the bigger difference is that Trump actually had policies and political/social standpoints in his campaign. Sure, they lacked substance and credibility but he knew he had to portray at least the loose image of a politician (when it suited him) in order to win.
The only thing I would say to challenge that is that Trump DID actually have political positions, albeit lightweight, reactionary ones without substance.
It's only one step removed from our history of gathering to watch public executions, so I didn't see it as a huge leap. There is enough evidence in the world to auggest that in the right circumstances 99% of people would be on-board with the protagonist's repeated torture. And the 1% wasn't really relevant to the…
I actually thought for the first 25 minutes that this episode might be in a world where the real world has become a live-action video game, and that the protagonist was forced to respawn in the house every time she died. When the transmitter walls opened I thought "she's finally completed the level!"
I'm assuming the Bad Place "demons" don't age. Mindy's wdlcome video (assuming that whole thing wasn't part of the scam) was 30 years ago, right? So presumably before Michael developed his so-called Good Place, and Trevor was an adult in the welcome vid, although it's possible it took decades to design Michael's…
The mini arcs are a great way to structure a season, it's perfect for keeping the pace up without juggling too many balls at once.
I expected him to be more badass than he was considering Mace's attacks didn't even faze him. He no-sold his face punch like 1990s Undertaker. Even if Mace didn't have his powers he's clearly a strong guy whose punches would surely do SOME damage to a normal guy.
Which also makes sense because he was flirting with May the whole time, and given current events it makes sense that he'd remember/focus on those aspects of the memory than the object itself.
Well I know she's been in the MacGyver remake but I don't know how regular her character is.
The worst thing about the May/Coulson romance is that it makes Amy Acker's return to the series seem less and less likely.
