My favorite family vehicle of all time, and I’ve mentioned it many times on Jalopnik, was my Mercedes R350. It was essentially a slightly-squashed minivan without sliders. Similar in many ways to the original Pacifica.

In my admittedly limited experience, Judges tend to be 6000% nicer than LEOs. I would go to court, go before the judge and explain the situation and ask for lenience. I bet the judge would simply drop the charge.
