That proverbial cow’s been giving milk for so long, they’ll never get off the teat.

Or the sequel to “Dick in a box”.

The government has a legal mandatory requirement to citizens to purchase a for-profit product but corporations don’t have a legal requirement to provide it.

It’s a one-off.

My wife, easily influenced by social media FOMO: “I really want a Peloton, can we get one PWEASSSSSE? I really really want to get into it.”

You can’t fool me, Jez; that’s just Trump in a wig.

TIL not to leave my swiss army knife in the center console in case I get pulled over.

I love how the white utility truck doesn’t even have a front axle. That gave me a nice little internal chuckle.

No, no, no.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. All that text he is reading is claims without evidence. It’s like reading the Bible and saying it’s proof god is real and he hates figs.

Imagine an empty universe with nothing to perceive it. Suns boiling away for eons, providing light for nothing to see by. Warmth that no living thing will ever bask in. Barren lifeless worlds twirling around their stars forever.

Tons of thankless, soul-crushing, stressful, difficult jobs in the world, none of those justify going home and attacking the person you purport to love.

It would stand to reason that other “high stress/high stakes” jobs would naturally lead to DV. Say, Trauma Surgeon, Air Traffic controllers, EMT/Paramedics, Firefighters, etc. Why aren’t we seeing that?

SM2 - while a repetitive trope- was done right and made sense in the overall arc of the story. You’re also right that we knew it was temporary but it was effective because we felt for the character bc how shitty his life was going.

Spot on. That was Jeremy Clarkson’s review of it as well. He said it drove like a Mustang. He also said he didn’t care and called it 14 feet of Art.

eyebleach, stat!

I can’t look at those without seeing the alien bounty hunter from The Last Starfighter.

I’ve never driven a Camry, but I have driven a Lotus Evora, which has the same power plant and that was a fantastic engine in that car. Lotus finesses the engine a bit and slaps a supercharger on it for 400HP. An exotic rear-engine sports car with 400hp a stick shift AND a Toyota engine? Almost too good to be true.
