I’m about 2/3 of the way through the first book and I’m really enjoying it. It reminds me of Vernor Vinge’s books (which works out well, since I really liked Vernor’s books.)

The problem with this show is that I like the Cleon storyline and couldn’t care less about whatever in the hell the actual Foundation is doing. 

If you find yourself agreeing with Hitler so much your  publications makes direct quotes...You might be a Nazi. 

As I was reading the top portion of the article, I was thinking “This motherfucker is waving a flag, essentially yelling to the crowd, if you’ll bring a case before me, I’ll overturn birth control!” And then you put it right there in black and white.

One thing I notice about these guys is that soooo many of them are really into dyeing their hair. Ralph Reed has to be in his 60s by now, but there isn’t a single gray hair on that oily, slicked-back, republican-christofascist-standard-haircut head of hair.

I think the steel was a good bit more brittle than usual plates of steel as well. Some contamination in the coking process or something.

I get that you were paraphrasing what he said, but you put quotation marks around the statement as though it were a direct quote. You shouldn’t do that.

Currently, ALL of them. They are just so, so terrible. And I thought the banglebutt was bad, but to me the greatest travesty was going from the E39 5 series to the E60. Gadzooks! was that ugly when compared to the previous generation, even without considering the banglebutt.

Ming Na-Wen was all the special effects AoS needed.  I genuinely loved that show, warts and all.

A memoir only recalls events of the past. You don’t have to be at the end of your life to have a past. It’s not the same thing as a biography.
