Yep, I constantly remind myself of this when I'm driving my Outback. I can out accelerate everyone, and I can power myself out of a turn, but beyond that I can't do much better than they can. Of course, that's enough for me to love having AWD, but still.

In Russia, ABS keeps YOU on road. Or it doesn't.

Since I don't especially love Corvettes, is it bad that my only thought was "No! Don't hit the XF!!"?

Yeah, theoretically. Problem is, so few people know how to do it, and it is a lot less usable if you don't drive a stick, which many AWDs aren't. Sure, you can manually shift an automatic transmission, but you won't react fast enough (neither will it) to make the difference.

Polarizing? I've yet to meet a person that doesn't like this car. Maybe if you were referring to the Cadillac styling cues overall, but this wagon is pretty well liked.

Yeah, and I've driven in Newfoundland. If it was fun in a stick Tuscon, it would be unimaginably fun in a car like this.

The car isn't totalled.

Well, I think even the richest people would get ancy about possibly losing a $1.5 million car. I think we can attribute his chillness to his personality, more than his wealth.

Another big "perceived value adder" for me is the presence of projector headlights. It doesn't matter whether they are xenons or HID or just standard halogen, the design just gives off a sharper light and makes the headlamps more detailed and interesting. It worked really well for Mazda, and Subaru, and the

I had one, it was student-wheels perfection.

You clearly haven't met a Cimarron. No, its not. The Cimarron was an obvious very cynical redo of a lower-end car. This has a completely different body, which is aimed at a completely different market, and may or may not share unknown quantities of drivetrain bits with the Volt. No doubt it will have a very Caddy

Remember when Q-ships used to be cool? Now all luxury cars have to be overdone and ridiculous (see Audi's LED fetish, designs reliant upon googleplex-inch rims, etc.).

Then you haven't driven an Accord with a manual. Just because they are common and reliable, doesn't mean they are automatically boring. In auto, yes, quite possibly, but when you get to work some of the nicer engines in Honda's stable with some equally as nice manual transmissions? Not beige. Camry yes, you have my

Yeah, that is just a reflection. I remember them using this photo when the V6 6spd was released. This is hybrid.

Eh, it depends what your cargo is, but rarely is it an issue that is worthwhile considering how much every other form factor gives you in usability. Heck, even the awful Crosstour genre thingy is more useful, and just as refined and capable a passenger carrier.

Its not the hybrid folks. Those rims were available only with the V6 6-speed manual varient of the Accord sedan (they were also available with the coupe, but that is not relevant here). Considering the Accord of that gen still handles fairly nicely (certainly tidier than most family sedans), it would be quite a nice

THEY KILLED A BMW M5! There is no coming back from that, Vancouver.

The current 6 never got the Mazda grin...

Actually, of all of the generations of their cars, the previous one was by far the most interesting. So, its really only been the current that has been the wrong approach, and even the current generation is still one of the most attractive sedans on the market.

Excellent. Maybe we will get our hatchback and wagon back. As a matter of fact, just give us the hatchback in place of the sedan. No sedan-lover will know the difference except when it comes time to load some furniture...and then they will be converts.
