I think the issue here is that the CIA lost control of these tools well before Wikileaks. They are out there being bought and sold in black markets. So conceivably they can be used by foreign powers to spy on us, yes.

Well, the NSA revelations showed that they were collecting (or at the very least had a court order demanding) metadata for every domestic and international call placed by every Verizon customer. That strikes me as a pretty big violation of the rights of US citizens, but not everyone agrees.

“Wanting characters to identify with” implies an inability to identify with what is being offered. If your child only identifies with characters who look like him/her, you’ve failed as a parent.
