Probably doesn’t matter but if you have direct injection getting top tier gas with additives can prevent build up that forms in DI engines.

It doesn’t have a heat sink going to the fuel does it? If it’s got enough to pump fuel I’d assume it’s fine. Running it dry might cause wear but if your cars still running I can’t imagine it would do anything. If it were that sensitive they’d put a bracket and sink it to the tank.
