Brown is a piece of shit, that’s pretty inarguable. I do think it’s a mistake to call him an incel, though. You can be a misogynistic fuckwad and not be an incel. Incel is a subset of misogynistic fuckwad.

Studios pounce on this kind of stuff well before it’s over, look at all the Elizabeth Holmes stuff that came out over the past couple years. Also I heard through the grapevine that Apple just paid $5 million for the rights to Michael Lewis’ book about the FTX implosion, with Adam McKay attached, a book that not a…
I wish I’d known that trick back when I was taking exams. “I’m going to tell you the definition of a demand function. Because it is written in my great book. It said ‘a demand function and a supply function.’ And there’s a difference between the two of them.”
That’s a good point. I guess people come at shows differently, but with the exception of Kayce and maybe Rip in recent seasons, I’m not really rooting for any of the Dutton crew, except insofar as their enemies tend to be even worse than they are (not counting the bunkhouse crew, they seem cool for the most part).
I don’t really get the Republican-adjacent label that’s been attached to the show. It’s storylines talk about issues like indigenous rights, rural development, political corruption, water rights, many of which aren’t really being discussed in other pop culture... It also honestly has a bit of a ring of bias to it?…
Everything about the sushi restaurant was great.
Honestly if Cane’s opened a location where they only sold their Texas toast and Cane’s sauce, they’d probably still do decent business.
Between Hubig’s and Zapps, New Orleans has some best the best local mass produced convenience store food in the country.
Also breadcrumbs. I’m not waiting for some bread to go stale and then dirtying my food processor.
I’m also a Stovetop supporter, though we never did it for Thanksgiving. That’s the one time a year for my grandma’s stuffing, which is like... 3/4 ground beef
Man, Eddie Huang really shot himself in the foot, huh? A few years ago, he had a clothing line, a couple of restaurants in NYC, was hosting a food travel show, had a bestselling book that got turned into a major network show. Now I haven’t heard anything about him since a few years ago when he was making creepy…
I went with a friend who also doesn’t like gambling. Sit down at a roulette table, make opposing bets, you essentially end up being able to drink for free.
Who has soup at Thanksgiving? Also, I love Stovetop stuffing, but Thanksgiving is the time to go for it on stuffing.
How does privacy work with Jane Doe #3? Even if she isn’t named in these articles, her famous husband is named, and she’s actually named in one of the articles linked here. Could her husband have testified anonymously as well? How do you remain a Jane Doe in cases like this?
If you haven’t seen it, I actually think I liked the original Oculus short film better than the full movie.
Whoops, brain fart, sorry!
I agree that it’s early, but I liked Nope and I don’t know what you mean by the reviews not being kind - it has an 82% on RT, which is pretty good.

I know Carnivore! It is very touristy, but the experience of a Brazilian steakhouse where someone might come by with a skewer of ostrich meat or something is definitely a unique experience.
