I’m on the iceberg’s side here. They were minding their own business, floating around, and the ship crashed into them due to the crew’s negligence. And the Titanic’s design was a bit problematic. So... #teamiceberg

At least they made Yang a regular cast member fairly quickly.  He really makes ever skit he’s in come alive.  Love him.

One positive side-effect of the restrictions on using the f-bomb has been the sometimes extremely successful strategic deployment of the linguistic Tsar Bomba from the filmmaker’s arsenal. First Class even set up an excellent follow up to this scene in Days of Future Past.

Today is 100 days since I’ve had a drink and 100 days of doing yoga and meditation daily. I’ve been on a roller coaster of Big Feelings for 100 days, and I’m learning so much about myself and the world around me. I’ve never stuck to anything for this long in my entire life.

I love lemon so much. And the raspberries condensed down a bit during baking so they had really intense raspberry jam flavor, being frozen properly helped with, cell walls already being broken down before going into the oven.

My husband found an appointment for a vaccine yesterday, for today! I thought, alright, this is my time to shine! I work in healthcare, and I know the ins and outs of the system, I’m going to find him an appointment! I helped my mom! Nope. He just hit refresh at the right time. Oh well, the important thing is him

What died in the aughts should stay dead.

I once told to a local store that their roast chickens were boring; tried to present it as a question more than a statement because I wasn’t sure why. There was definitely something on the surface like a spice mix, but mostly saltless eating just crispy skin.

Shannon, that sounds like a delicious sandwich. And probably more practical that pastrami, for eating regularly.

Plus, dear God, the smell of pastrami, in an enclosed space, with recycled air.

This. Any chicken is boring as hell unless there’s a lot of other tasty stuff present at the time of cooking. And if something tastes good, it’s probably unhealthy in some quantity less than what humans would prefer to consume.

Having eaten a lot of it during lean times, I can attest that roast chicken is bland as motherfucking fuck if you don’t salt/sugar/sauce the living shit out of it, so I’m not surprised to learn that the brines they use in the supermarket variety are full to the brim of salt and/or sugar.

My wife got an air fryer for Christmas but all she’s done with it is use it to roast chicken breast or fish filets. I want her to use the rotisserie (especially the French fry basket) but she’d rather shop for new window dressings and I know if I read the instructions and learn how, then it will forever be my job to

Unpopular opinion?

Was... not great? It was essentially Lifetime Original plot movie elevated by Ellen Page’s performance.

These things are an embarrassment. They look like they came out of the discount bin at the Dollar Tree.

That’s an insult to Austin Powers movies.

I think this series is supposed to take place when they're adults
