How is the Ghostbusters sequel (it isn’t a reboot) a blatant attempt to be Stranger Things? Did you get the impression from that one teaser they released?

So I finished Season 3 yesterday and I’m hoping it was the last one centered around Hawkins and these characters. Just like I feared it didn’t develop the story or the characters much, if at all.
Wow, I think I found who they based Robin Sparkles on in How I Met Your Mother. 😁
Ah, so it is/was a real mall. Nice, I can see why you’re excited for seeing it in the show.
Not really excited for it to be honest. Season 1 was great, Season 2 felt a bit unnecessary, and I don’t know what they could possibly bring to Season 3 that develops the story and the characters significantly... it looks like its main draw will be more 80s nostalgia and product placement.
Terrible news. I hoped it was all just a stunt, at least that would have meant that there was still hope for him to overcome his darkness...
what is said explicitly is not always what is meant implicitly.
Thank you.
Aw screw you Arnheim. As I’ve said before you’re the single most inspirational commenter and voice of reason here on Kotaku. In your comment above you said that you can come of as a huge asshole and I honestly couldn’t think of a comment I read when you did.
I have put my statements in this order for a reason. You took them and reversed them.
I will not reconsider my thinking behind this because neither am I accusing him of anything, nor am I finger wagging.
I am also not a YouTuber who has repeatedly threatened to kill myself in the past, live-streamed to 19.000 viewers police in riot gear swarming my home or put myself front and center to be talked about.
I hope he’s alright.
Fuck I love that show, but all the tie-in promotions make me like it a little less! (Mine.)
Jeez.
Yeah, like I said, what the machine offers is far beyond my needs. The base model of the previous Mac Pro was not – it’s a shame Apple doesn’t offer a more reasonably priced and specced base model this time, especially with this modular architecture. Some more options would be nice.
I’m doing graphics/motion design and a bit of video-editing and 3D and was looking forward to the announcement of the Mac Pro to maybe replace my Late 2012 iMac. What this new Mac Pro offers is far beyond my needs and those of most people who’d call themselves “professionals”.
But can it run Crysis? But how many instances of Crysis can it run?
In my opinion the better option would be to still offer Frontlines and Domination playlists, but display a warning that queue times might be long. Showing the number of players currently playing or queueing up would give players a better understanding of what’s going on and why they have to wait so long to find a…
In my opinion there’s no need for a Rocket League 2 because there’s nothing to add or change in the game’s mechanics. The gameplay seems simple on the surface, but it’s so, so deep and the skill ceiling is so high, most players won’t ever consistently pull things off the pros do all the time. And players still disc…
You also didn’t suggest that a thousand monkeys at keyboards wrote the code. There’s a million things you didn’t suggest. You could have easily pointed out both facts about the engine and net code, but then you wouldn’t been able to tell somebody how worthless they are compared to you.
