No.

Implied. lol

I only told wiski they were using the same engine... I wonder how many more replies I will get from people trying to teach me about engines.

...and here come the muppets again.

Might be a difference in the game engines

Did you read?

It would hurt me more if the game I worked on for three years wasn’t even released, if it didn’t even get a chance.

Well, the article said they were reallocating development resources to another project. I doubt that project is going to be Titanfall, but yeah, maybe their work hasn’t been for nothing.

In fact I am the director of a company.

Just watched two of his videos on YouTube – the guy is a legend. I don’t want to know how many grandmas fall for these dirty scammers and get yelled at if they don’t know what a Google Play card is... it’s quite harrowing to hear really.

Even if that was the case and they didn’t put their heart and soul into it, it has got to suck to see the work you did in the past three years to be in vain.

Hmm, let me think...

...and where did I suggest otherwise? All I’m saying is that it must be tough for a developer to see three years of work in vain.

Repurposing assets, yeah, I’m sure that’s all they did in those three years. Get the fuck outta here...

...okay? How do loot boxes fit into this discussion?

Well I just expressed one point of view, that from a developer who spent three years working on a game only to see it canned. Nowhere did I say “the consequences be damned they should just release it and see how it goes”. I’m sure they had a reason to cancel the project, I’m just saying it must be hard for somebody

Not having it released at all is way worse in my opinion, especially when it must have been close to being finished. All the hard work for nothing. If you release it and nobody’s playing it, well, that’s a risk every developer has to face (LawBreakers says hello). But at least you released it, at least your work

Can’t imagine what it must feel like when you work on a game for three years and put all your heart and soul into the project, only to have it cancelled by the higher-ups because of a business desicion”.
