Whew. After reading the negative comments here I’m kinda glad I didn’t get FC5 right away. I wanted to wait for it to get cheaper and then play it with a buddy in co-op... guess I will not.
Evidently you have no idea how to use that feature.
A workaround is still better than not being able to read the text at all.
It’s really great, especially in combination with the super-sampling mode!
Of course it’s a workaround. And it’s better than having to get closer to your TV every time you want to read something.
You’re not wrong. But until the devs address this issue, it’s a nice workaround.
I love how the Zoom works together with the super-sampling mode as well. When you’re on a 1080p display playing a game that isn’t Pro-enhanced, it will zoom in to the 4K picture, giving you a sharp zoomed image.
I agree. The Zoom feature isn’t supposed to be a solution, but a workaround until Santa Monica fixes the small text. A workaround that should be mentioned in an article like this.

Fortnite didn’t look cheap to me, and its launch trailer showed that it didn’t only have it’s own style, but personality and originality.
This feels completely void of personality. Like a cheap App Store Fortnite knock-off. I suppose after LawBreakers they want to make a little cash for little effort, trying to cash in on what’s popular at the moment.
Many people would beg to differ, but yeah, I liked FC3 and 4 better overall as well. I agree that most of those details shouldn’t be the main draw, like being able to shoot branches off trees. Other details, like the more sophisticated enemy AI, however, make the gameplay a lot more interesting. And I think it’s kind…
I take the more interesting enemy AI shown in the video over basic friendly AI any day.
The dry climate of FC2 explains the greater fire propagation, true. But I like how fire actually burns away the grass and the trees’ leaves in FC2.
Oh, visually I think it looks beautiful and definitely a big step above FC3. But evidently they have taken a step backwards in terms of physics and AI.
