ROMERO IS DEAD!?
WE FOUND THE TRUMP VOTER GUYS!
Your comment reminded me of this fantastic video.
It’s utterly ridiculous.
I have no idea if FF XIV does it... and I can’t think of any game that didn’t use the platform’s friends list. That’s why I was wondering if the platform makers allowed it.
You played without aim-assist and you could still compete on PC? Damn. I don’t want to have you as an opponent on a console FPS.
Saw them live three times. Would have seen them more often if they decided to tour Europe more... or not play on those damn festivals, which really isn’t the way to see them live.
You must not read a lot of internet comments if you thought that was bitching and moaning. I criticized cross-network play and suggested features that will make the service worthwhile. Calling it “pointless” was a bit of an exaggeration, admittedly.
You call my initial comment bitch and moan? I call it voicing my opinion.
You’re right, some people are satisfied with little.
Never said I didn’t care about it. I said in it’s current form I don’t see the point.
Yeah, “pointless” was a bit exaggerated.
Hm. I remain sceptical that we will ever have a cross-platform network. I don’t think much has changed in the past years – people are still fighting over which platform is best, Microsoft and Sony are still taking shots at eachother. I think it will be a long way until the industry grows up and sees the greater good…
It’s a start, you’re right. I just hope they will continue to improve cross-network play, so that we not only get to randomly play against people on another system, but to party with them, add them to our friends list and voice chat with them.
I agree, a bigger player pool would be interesting for people with higher ranks. Wait, you’re among the top 100 in the game?
While that would definitely work, I wonder if the platform makers would allow it. Seeing as the games are connected via the platforms’ respective services (Xbox Live, PSN, etc.) I wonder if developers are bound to use that service’s social features, or if they are free to use their own in-game friends list and voice…
Nice, thanks for looking that up!
Still not sure if Microsoft just didn’t allow Sony access to that cross-network, or if Sony simply refused to take part. Either way, it’s bad #4ThePlayers. Nice to see such features across all those different devices though – that’s definitely how it should be.
If those things make no difference to you, good for you. Seems like you’re satisfied with little.
Better than not being able to play at all? Sure.
