I'm a 21 year old virgin. I didn't choose this because some religious nutcases told me that it is my most "precious gift" and that I need to offer this gift to my husband. I chose this because I want my first experience to be with someone I care about, but that might change because I'm impatient lol. But if I did make

am so fucking creeped out by our societies obsession with virginity/purity. it fucks just about everything up from ppl being disappointed when their first time sucks, to women feeling like theyre worthless if theyre raped because their one gift has been stolen. we desperately need to let go of this idea. its gross and

OMG I LIVE FOR THIS SHIT! this is amazing!!! i seriously wish my career could be pranking people with elaborate jokes like this. i don't know what that says about me, but there you have it.

OMG DIDN'T I TELL YOU PUMPKIN SPICE WAS MAGICAL???

I would have been so disappointed to learn it was a prank.

That was so freakin badmotherfuckingASS. Who here would have fell for it if they were there? & who would have been jealous it wasnt them with the cool powers. Because id have been kinda bummed it wasnt me. I'd have belived it hook line and sinker too just because i want so badly for superhero stuff to be real even

So you'd be a...........cat burglar?

I agree that there is something to be said about not peaking early. Who wants to look their best in middle school?

As soon as I heard this story, I thought she sounded actually way MORE mature than most young women in this situation just for requesting an abortion and acknowledging her limitations.

Dear A-hole Judges:

Which is why the wishes of each individual should be taken into account. This girl clearly states she is not ready to have a child. That's what should matter here. It is her body and her emotional and physical well-being that are going to be affected. What is forcing her to continue with a pregnancy going to do? How

Umm... you do realize that giving birth is in many ways an invasive medical procedure, right? And that it is of higher risk to the individual than a medical or surgical abortion?

She still has to carry and give birth to the kid, which will probably be extremely traumatic for someone who didn't want the baby in the first place. Also, if her foster parents are super-conservative, they may coerce her into keeping it.

I thought the same thing. At her age, I never would have had the heart or brain to request an abortion if my advisers disagreed. Bless this child and I hope her out of state ventures allowed her to control her body.

Right, I mean abortion and delivering an unwanted pregnancy is totes not traumatic either.

Written notarized consent?!

I hope so too. It is her body, it is her right. She has been through so much shit and she is so much more together than I was at her age.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
