Alien: Earth
Alien: Earth
We’ll probably learn that the Xenomorphs aren’t that scary once you get to know them and they assimilate much as other immigrant groups do. They do have a problem with getting drunk from spoiled milk, though.
Given that we never really know from the movies what Weyland-Yutani knows about the xenomorphs, it’s definitely possible that there’s a lab somewhere on Earth — I’m sure it’ll be fine, everyone — with xenos and other mysterious stuff being poked and prodded at.
Hawley certainly knows how to ratchet up the dread before…
We need a movement to persuade Jon Stewart to step down. It’s clear he is no longer fit for the job. His memory is clearly failing him if he doesn’t remember this:
Yes lets be united with the... *checks notes* president and vice president nominees who have called for violence against democrats, removal of Mexicans, and think trans people should not exist.
Exactly.
If Jon thinks having Bad Faith Argument O’Reilly on to discuss the political divide is “balance”, what does that say about him?
The same people who say “get over it” when classrooms full of children are slaughtered are now combing through social media posts to make sure everyone thinks this specific instance of gun violence is the one we need to burn the Constitution over.
Jack’s reaction here is really disappointing. Even if he disagreed with the comment and thought it was in bad taste, throwing your friend and creative partner for decades under the bus to this extent is a big shame.
I can understand cancelling the tour and things (not endorsing that move, just I get it)—but without more info it sounds pretty boilerplate. I don’t know if this means a breakup like the write up says.
Sorry but it’s not “hate speech” to wish a fascist was dead. It’s banal and Black is a douchebag for reacting like this.
Movies (& tv) vs. advertising, I guess? The clause in the will mentions “product advertising purposes”, which obvious ads fall under, though I guess legally a movie wouldn’t. (A trailer seems like a gray area, but if it’s from the movie itself....)
They want their money back, money back, money back, money back, money back, money back, money back, money back.
...and respecting their late colleague’s intention to keep the work out of the hands of advertisers.
You’ve got to fight...for your right...to sue Chili’s!
Actually I totally buy that. Who is going to go see Part 2 if they haven’t seen Part 1? I always thought the release date of the second was way to close to Part 1 when they announced the dates. Even the Matrix 2 & 3, enormous blockbusters many people saw, were 5 months apart. You have to give your audience time to…
it seems paying audiences are…just over the horizon 😎
Genuinely bummed about this. I really liked Chapter 1 and was excited for Chapter 2. From the first moment of the film you are reminded why Costner has a Best Director Oscar for a western. These films deserve to be seen on a big screen. I hope he gets a chance to finish it. Honestly the weirdest choice was releasing…
Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy, literally. Fuck him.
