The other versions of the game are worse. It screws over people who were going to buy the game anyway on other platforms. Nobody is happy when a multiplatform game just has more content at launch on one platform than others.

It’s about both things. The author used the impending release of the game and its position on the Twitch leaderboard to talk about how it got there. That’s good information, even if you, individually, already know how Twitch’s rankings work.
