Hmmm which channel is this on? I’ve heard of it before and definitely need to check it out too. Thanks for the reminder.

I will add it to my queue. I love British tv, blogs, etc. - I added that show with Hyacinth Bouquet simply because a blog I regularly read which skewers Prince William and his wife referred to that show. I loved it so much.
I will check it out now. I bet this will be my new place to hang. I definitely am drawn to fashion and dramatic styling - I have always loved medieval style dresses and drool whenever Cersei or other royalty wears those gowns with the gorgeous sleeves. (I seriously almost added them to my stunning wedding dress just…
Okay, I will be checking this out too. I have heard of Poldark but couldn’t place it until I looked it up. It definitely seems like my kind of show, so into my summer tv pile it goes.
I have such a huge soft spot for 50s - 60s tv shows, even though they weren’t PC. I love Leave it to Beaver, I Love Lucy, The Lucy Desi Comedy Hour, the Munsters, Happy Days, basically all of Nick-at-Nite’s old lineup from when I was a kid. Probably explains why I devoured Mad Men and romanticize that era despite its…
Hmmm, I may have to get Showtime when my new job starts next month. I think that’s the one channel we actually don’t have. Thanks for the rec, I’ll check it out soon.
Everyone was talking about that awhile ago. I will have to check it out, I’m sure. I think there were even posts on here about it. And British tv always does it for me.
I need a great costume drama in my life. I tried with Jonathan Rhys Meyers’ show awhile ago but it became too idk - too campy and I lost interest. I might need to try again and am also dying to look into the Borgias as well. I love historical dramas.
THIS. IS. EVERYTHING. Every night needs to be Sunday. Or Tuesday. Those are the best tv nights for some reason. Actually Monday too for Southern Charm.
Thanks, you too!
I marathon the Munsters when I want to get some work done and/or want to get to sleep but need the tv on for background noise. I love old tv shows - I’m living for the day when I Love Lucy is on Netflix so I can marathon my favorite eps of that too.
Me too! I used to watch Project Runway (like all the hipsters say, way before it was cool and everyone became obsessed) but I had to stop it because it was too over the top. Now the only challenge/competition shows I watch are really Top Chef, and whatever it is that Gordon Ramsay hosts with children. (My husband has…
I haven’t tried Outlander yet either. Need to get into that one because it keeps popping up on my radar. Fairly certain I will start watching Penny Dreadful next month. It sounds too much like a show I would adore so I must indulge.
Oh I have loved Brienne since first we met her. I adore her character so much - and Tormund with the sex eyes was so amazingly funny. I would love for her to find some non-Jamie happiness.
I really should check that out because I love me some Rupaul too. My goodness, my poor, overworked DVR.
I actually need to add that to my DVR. I’ve been meaning to but just haven’t gotten around to it yet. What channel is it on and which days does it air? I think it would be right up my alley.
What’s GBBO?
I LOVE GAME OF THRONES!!!!! I have to tune out with Ramsay Bolton’s trajectory though - I sincerely hope he is offed by the end of this season, because I can’t take his character and haven’t been able to since he went crazy on Theon.
It is so pathetic how much I will procrastinate if that channel, TLC, or HGTV is on. I can watch and rewatch the same shows. And a few shows - Obsession, Dark Desires being one of them - have scared me so badly I can’t watch them without my husband (or really, at all).
You know, my husband and I tried Veep a few months ago and just couldn’t get into it. I really, truly wanted to - (Julia Louis Dreyfuss! Jack McBrayer!) but it wouldn’t stick. Maybe we will give it another go this summer. I have not tried Preacher, Fargo or the Americans. The substantive show I do watch is United…
