Definitely add Jillian Michaels to your rotation. When I moved back in with my rents after college, I used her 30 Day Shred (through Comcast’s OnDemand feature) and it really helped get me in shape. I have an odd love for her for some strange reason.

I need to watch that show. Adding it to my Netflix list when this ep of 3rd Rock is over.

I’m rewatching 3rd Rock from the Sun for the fifth or seventh time. God I love John Lithgow. I’m also browsing my pleasure reading books and brushing up on my application essays for grad school (for submission this fall thank goodness).

I am going to try to be more optimistic this year. It’s definitely something that I can work on.

I joined a personal training gym and between that place and the gym at my apartment, managed to work out several times a week. I’ve been keeping the weight off and keeping fit all year and am looking to add ballet back into the mix next week.

Thanks! We’re curled up on the couch watching Archer. I’m trying to distract myself back into salvaging the evening.

And there was a dumpster fire that forced us to evacuate into the freezing cold for 45 minutes. I thought we were going to lose one of our new cars :o/ Thankfully everyone’s alright and we’re back inside where it’s warm, but dammit 2015 had to go out with a bang.

Hi! Aw, I’m hoping to transition into Higher Ed eventually. I am applying to programs in education that focus on Af Am Studies and Minority education. I am looking into Master’s and Ph.D programs, and won’t be taking my GRE until the late summer/early fall, thankfully.

We somehow had free access to HBO so we’ve watched all of the Sopranos, Entourage, True Blood, and I tried to start Boardwalk Empire but couldn’t get into it. He tends to be conservative with his purchasing of DVDs and series so I thought it was cute that he bought it.

My husband found a deal and bought the second half of Season 7 off of Amazon. We caved after watching the entire series on Netflix and didn’t ant to wait until they bought the last part of the show.

Thank you - I feel like I should be whooping it up but I prefer my chair and blanket.

Hmmm that sounds really tasty. We have some of those ingredients and I could make a really nice veggie soup (carrots, heirloom tomatoes, potatoes, etc.) tonight. Especially since I am oddly suffering from some heartburn. Durn stomach.

I have learned to manage my time at work effectively. I am always working very hard, including through preps and lunch. I definitely suggest taking a break at work (like get out and walk for a bit, even if it’s only for 15 minutes), but definitely get planning and grading done at work as much as you possibly can.

I’ve been dying for a Roomba for years. I want to pick one up if only to use it to scare the dog.

I love Deadly Women so much. And your dinner sounds delish. I thought about putting on a pot of soup, but wanted some chicken bones for flavor which we are sorely lacking at the moment.

Honestly, I’m lame-o tonight so it’ll be water and Perrier when I’m feeling ~spicy.~ Hubs is drinking nog and maybe wine if he feels so inclined.

Hubs and I are super boring. We’re watching the Simpsons marathon on Fx (finished watching Mad Men earlier and yes we didn’t like the finale), and will be cooking, grilling, and spending a quiet evening with the dog. There may be board games involved.

Honestly, I’ve heard too much about v-births to even want one despite the fact that C-sections are major surgery. I’ve had women tell me that they had 4” or larger episiotomies and that pretty much killed any desire to push a watermelon-shaped human out of that particular orifice. So your story further solidifies my

I went Christmas crazy this year. I decorated our entrance area, every doorknob, almost all of the windows (except in our Master since it isn’t visible to guests), our porch, hung way too many stockings, holly, lights all over (tree, our kitchen, our porch/patio), wreaths, etc. I LOVE CHRISTMAS and we have the space

I am in a holding pattern with a tote in my online bag at Macy’s. I’m also eagerly anticipating Bath and Body Works’ semi-annual sale.
