But Nintendo must be thinking they can kill it even more, since they’re saying that they’re releasing the NES Classic to literally garner more interest. Just seems like odd reasoning to me.

Wouldn’t a better way to garner interest in the Switch be to give all Switch owners an “NES Classic” and “SNES Classic” app on the Switch itself? Hey, instead of buying these cutsie one-truck ponies, get a Switch and we’ll throw those games in for free!

Wait, wait, wait - you think he used his own money to win the election?!? HahahhahhahHahahahaha ! This is the man who bills the government for stays at his own resorts and hotels.

This seems to be a common theme on PC lately. The place to play all the hot games - a year after everyone else.

Xbox One S is under $300 CDN. :)

I mean, based on his comment history it doesn’t look like you’re wrong.

+1 Europa League berth.

Reads lede, checks byline - Yup, story checks out, no need to read further.

Coming as DLC this Fall: the new Monster Hunter Hunter pack allows you to throw red paint on any Hunter wearing any bits of any monster. Also allows Hunter Hunters to picket (including fully customizable signs) and protest however they see fit.

You can play it either way. Monsters scale whether you’re solo or in a group. (Although, it’s an either/or thing - either you fight it solo and it has x HP or you fight it in a group and it has y XP, no matter the group size. This is not a game you really want to play with only 2 people)

Camera is mapped to the right stick, like most 3p games. I haven’t had any issues with it at all.

So use a weapon you find more realistic? Dual blades, sword and shield, light bowgun, bow, insect glaive all look proportional and “realistic”.

In all fairness, I’m up to the Anjanath and nothing has taken me longer than 25 minutes on the first run. (And I’m not the most experienced hunter). That’s said, I’m sure things are going to scale up at some point.

Long Sword charge attack. It’s an AOE attack.

20k PROFESSIONAL jobs in one fell swoop? I’m not buying it - that’s literally 20% ish of the total workforce (professional and non-professional) of most of the country’s largest and wealthiest companies.

It’s telling just how much games have changed since I started playing in the early 80s. Most of the JRPGs didn’t tell you much, and when they did it was via text tutorials. The game expects you to want to learn, to dig, to be an active participant in the experience. This game does a really great job of walking you

I feel like that should be the pass/fail criteria for the game. If you’re so busy mashing buttons that you missed the expository dialogue for the Training Grounds less than 30 mins into the game, you’re probably going to have a VERY bad time when you start mashing buttons fighting monsters.

I’m on XB1 - DecisiveFish03. Feel free to hit me up! :)

Switch Axe! Wild swing into morph attack into a mount and elemental discharge feels soooo good.

This, this, so much this. It’s not clunky, it’s someone mashing buttons and hoping for the best. Think before you press! Shorten your combo if you think you don’t have much time before a monster’s next attack.
