The combat in Ryse is fun and the game is gorgeous, but it does get repetitive and the story is...less than compelling? Not bad for free, but I wouldn’t spend $60 on it again.

Try a hard reset of the console? One thing I have experienced with games I’ve preloaded is that sometimes a reset unlocks them after trying and failing to initially boot after the unlock time. Had to do it last night to get Andromeda to fire at 9 pm.
