When Mia took her glasses off and was talking to Rob about his drinking, I could see the ghost of younger Carrie Fisher on her face.

I'm just pleased that I can now enjoy John Ross Bowie, because the only other thing I've seen him in was Big Bang Theory, which is terrible, and his character there was an annoying cartoon.

Around these parts, it's called "THE prom", always, so it's always weird to hear TV people say "are you going to prom?"

I have a physical disability and my gran would visit a couple of times of year, have me walk up and down in front of her and then say, "ach, the poor little cripple." Lame doesn't bother me for the same reason you mention above. Retarded used to be the clinincally preferred term that evolved into a slur.

The brother-sister relationship between Sharon and Fergal is perfection.

I have turned around completely on the only two characters I didn't care for in season 1. I came around by the end of season 1 on Chris, but I didn't really care for Dave until he died for a short time. Of course, now I went back and I enjoy both of them right from the get-go.

My father came over from Ireland in 1964, and his accent is still thick, but not as thick as it gets when he's actually in Ireland.

No.

I started making a list of all the characters Bryan Fuller has killed, and how he has killed them, over the course of his TV shows, I am still only partway through Dead Like Me. It's a big job.

Seriously, once I heard Fuller was doing this, I was not just thinking about how much I wanted to watch the show, but how much I wanted to SEE the show.

Ex Machina?

It really doesn't make any sense, but I can understand someone religious needing God's blessing to get busy. I mean, if you've ruined your flower by having sex once, why hesitate the second time?

I just finished reading her book This One Is Mine, and I was not impressed. I wonder if the Bernadette book is better?

Well, this one made me cry. My best friend died unexpectedly, 7 years ago, from a heart attack. That line about a long term relationship with grief hit me hard, because it's true. Grief is with you forever - not always at the forefront, but it can hit you hard when you least expect it.

I think Powerless is starting to get better now that we're not getting reviews for it.

Two by two, hands of blue

On the other hand, my parents made us go to church all dressed in matching clothes. That was it. I could have stood for some competitive chocolate seeking afterwards!

I saw that movie once, Last Stop Wonderland? was it?

I worked for a cable company when it was on, so I got all the channels free. Not a millionaire!

I have not seen Torque, but he was a colossal douchebag of epic proportions in Art School Confidential.
