Hmmm. I feel like that's a matter of making anything sound good. With a screen like that it's literally an unfinished design, which makes it hard to take the product seriously. I certainly prefer the apple watch of the two. And Moto's shake to wake is pretty silly.

Hmmm. Now I'm not sure I believe you've actually used their products. It's uni-body construction and is very solid. As metal laptops go, not many are uni-body, and therefore not as strong as a Macbook. You could never say they feel flimsy, that's for sure.

Well, it's for chord cutters primarily. The Apple TV already has a "channel" for HBO cable subscribers. This just adds the functionality for non-cable subscribers...which is where things seem to be going.

I think what you're missing is this essentially IS the new Macbook Air, in all but name. My guess is they're going back to two lines: Macbook and Macbook Pro.

I think it's safe to say MOST people don't find the Macbook designs ugly. There are other complaints to be made, but ugly?? It's all subjective, but critical mass is usually favorable of their streamlined designs and build quality.
