Uh, system wide?

Yeah, good point. It's a collectable now...a rash-inducing collectable!

Well, that's just perfecto. My camera is "affected." (grumble grumble)

Hmm, too bad. The first book is truly excellent. I would say it's more anti-religious authority structures than anti-Christian. And blatant is the wrong word, it has a perspective and voice, which is different entirely. I assume that voice offends you...

Jonn, let's take a deep breath. Two things, are you saying the comments section of a website is NOT a place for opinions? That's it's sole purpose! And, I didn't see a lot of insults about Prometheus...just opinions...this being a comments section.

Whoa, childhood has not been kind to William Harrison...

To be clear I'm talking about Minority Report. I agree that Prometheus is all concept and no real story.

What didn't you like about the execution of it? I can think of a few plot holes towards the end, but as a whole, I felt it was incredibly well done.

Alright, that's a pretty good assessment after all. Apple's updates lately have been solid but not exciting. I'm ready for them to surprise us again.

Hmm, a bit of an oversimplification. So iCloud services, Airplay, and hardware updates aren't news?

Yeah, iOS is getting a bit boring, but I think the asymmetry of the Windows tiles would be a bit much. I have seen it in action though and the transitions are nicely done. As for a Windows desktop of all those tiles, no thanks.

This is not fanboy talk, I swear, but...I just don't get it. It's a colorful mess. The design is just so claustrophobic and tight and I feel like I'd get tired of looking at it pretty quickly. Plus when you have pages and pages of tiles laid out like that...ugh.

I actually think it's the opposite, the filmmakers are dumbed-down, not the audience. Alien franchise fans are not known for being thoughtless drones who want big 'splosions. Lindelof is a "premise guy." He's good at coming up with a story pitch. It's the story structure after the initial idea that he can never land.

Again, it was Google that blocked Apple from adding turn-by-turn. That's why Apple really had no choice but to make their own solution if they wanted to stay competitive.

No phone would...that's why you plug it in while driving. I suppose it also depends on how far you're going though.

Not quite accurate. Google has prevented Apple from adding things like turn-by-turn to their maps solution for years, so they could claim Android's version was superior. Google set the limitations so it was inevitable that Apple would have to look elsewhere for a solution.

I wouldn't say it's "gone live" as it's still a developer-only preview.

It was Google that wouldn't allow Apple to use turn-by-turn on their phones, so Apple can't be blamed for building their own solution. Everyone acts Apple DIDN'T want turn-by-turn. Google locked that down years ago.

Yeah, that's exactly how I've been using it as well.

Hehe. You're cute.
