Goodfellas is overrated.

(Kiefer Sutherland’s) second album, Reckless & Me, hit No. 3 in Scotland

Really? John Clive, Geoffrey Hughes, Peter Batten and Paul Angelis started a band? I suppose voicing the Beatles might have influenced them a bit in that regard.

first dredged up by the U.K.’s The Sun... And, to be (more than) fair to those outlets,

Now playing

“We Will Rock You” is ‘interesting’ in that it’s a more or less a capella ditty with a guitar solo tacked on. It’s kind of amazing how enduring it has been. It’s just a chant. I, personally, don’t think it bears repeat listening. However, the fast version of the song that they played in concert, now that actually

...pedant.

The original was songless. It was a book. Also, musicals are evil.

I remember Barbarian. Wolf (from the U.K. Gladiators TV series) was the cover model on the cassette.

It wasn’t douchey (in my opinion). It was facetious. Your response was (I don’t say “douchey”) irascible (in my opinion).

I didn’t connect anything to the C64. I simply took a picture of the particular magazine I had just been reading and uploaded it with the caption (“RetroGamer”...) for life. Below is another one of some others still lying around. I’ve also included my SF flip flops for good measure.

RetroGamer: a monthly magazine to which I subscribe. There was a nice article about Super Mario Land in that particular one which I was reading earlier tonight (I’m a bit behind as they stacked up during the pandemic). Yeah, I quite like playing and reading about older games. I find it enjoyable. Call it nostalgia,

“Average” my arse. It was a belter then and still is now.

I think I’ll just stick with The Simpsons Hit n’ Run (PS2).

That sounds bleak. It doesn’t make me regret not being able to make it through the first episode when it was shown on the BBC.

I already knew I would never watch this bloody thing but I don't think I'll be tuning in for any more recaps either. Although, I think I hate recaps. I want reviews. Why does someone need to regurgitate the whole storyline?

Yeah, and he released that song with Billy Idol.

Hands up if you LOVE Transformers but hate Michael Bay and don’t care for Beast Wars/Machines?

Darth Vader’s only a couple of letters away from Ralph Nader.

There were also some brilliant and very creepy effects in Fritz Lang’s Dr Mabuse films but I'm not cinema savvy enough to know if they were progenitors.

Flight of the Navigator belongs here. Per Wikipedia, “It was the first film to use reflection mapping to create realistic reflections on a simulated chrome surface.” (Not that I know what that means.)
