Accepted. I mean, I enjoyed it but I’m not desperately awaiting S2 like I’ve been desperately awaiting Better Caul Saul’s return. I was interested in the characters but the supernatural bit turned me off somewhat. And I really don’t like anything that uses visualising dreams as part of the drama. I think it's cheap.

That's not a question.

Right now: Better Caul Saul, Severance, We Own This City, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Now & Then.

I don’t get the reference Pete. If I cared enough to google the operation you refer to I would. However, as stated previously, I remain unmoved.

There’s no issue. I just think “isn’t tea horrible!? Don’t the Brits talk funny?” humour is pretty archaic and unintelligent. And you disagree. It's fine.

Unmoved, unmoved, unmoved!

Perhaps true, though it does feature prominently, in the children's TV show masquerading as adult entertainment.

I believe Ted Lasso to be... awful. But not because it’s pleasant: because it’s a children’s TV show with writers who don’t understand football masquerading as adult entertainment. I await disdain from its many fans, but shall remain unmoved.

We should be able to admit that we prefer the original without self-mockery though. The Winnie the Pooh stories as written are clever, sweet and also fucking hilarious. The drawings are beautiful. The Disney version is a perfectly functional but significantly diminished impression made to spoonfeed kids and sell merch.

No kink-shaming!

that heavenly Jack/Rebecca reunion that’s basically been in the cards since the moment we learned he died.”

At least there some action in these films. Not like that terrible tease with the filthy title where, unbelievably, no cars fuck anyone. Yes, I AM looking at you Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

And also, TransPorners, probably.

Sitting on top of the world, since you ask.

The real big story here: after 80 years, Bugs Bunny and Tom & Jerry cross over! (I would have been quite excited about this... around thirty years ago, before I became jaded).

Watching him callously dismiss Dennis and Brian’s significant alcohol issues and mental illness with a snort and a hand wash e, it's so clear to see why everyone hates Love. Prick.

It definitely is! Also, the show really gets better as it goes on so, give it a good try if you can. The three kids are really annoying (probably because they are very well-written, realistic teenagers) but even they come to have some great moments in the programme. Hope you enjoy it.

I think my favourite episode was the one when they did a dance routine at the end to cheer up the elder daughter whose dad had... missed her graduation or something I think. I watched the finale tonight and it was sweet and satisfying.

With respect, I think that’s what’s confusing you. As written, it’s a question, but if spoken would likely lack HRT (high rising terminal, also sometimes called AQI - Australian Question Intonation) because of the construction of the sentence. But question marks indicate questions regardless of tone of voice. It’s
