Same here. After terrible incidents with Isis we hear how we mustn’t change our behaviour as that would be giving in to terrorists. And yet here are people holding back on Trump in case it sets off more of his bootlicking cultists. Sounds like giving in to terorrists to me.

Despite having been a reader since I was a kid, I was saying to my g/f the other day that I’ve never read any of Stephen King’s books and I do plan to change that at some point. There’s a decent chance I will end up reading the Stand eventually (although I really fancy Under The Dome).

I almost never prefer a TV/film adaptation to a book I’ve read but (perhaps since) I’ve never read The Stand, I’m quite liking the series thus far and episode 4 was the most interesting yet, for me. I wondered if Hawk’s reaction to his friend’s death foreshadowed some kind of redemption, or if he’s going to go full

I say we take off, nuke the site from orbit... etc.

No... terrorists have to have dark skin. (I wonder how many of them would have been shot by now if the “patriots’ were mainly black and brown?).

Do we know whether Val Kilmer likes it?

I've never had a mobile phone. I despise them. Does it give me a false and inflated sense of superiority? Totally. But it gives me one tiny thing in common with Christopher Walker so it can't be all bad.

Always knew he was a dick. It’s terrible that he’s allowed to have the same name as Glen Campbell’s character in True Grit.

Hurrah for us!

It was lovely to see him in Curb Your Enthusiasm (what seems like, but isn’t) recently.

Hilariously off.

Just me, but I agree with him. Regardless of what they’ve been through I personally find the overuse of what sounds like an off-cut from Titanic to be just too much.

No Dinotopia.

Maybe it’s because I’m a moron - and there are many comments I should preface with that statement - but my memory of Stoker is of it looking lavish and being gripping but not making a lick of sense. I saw it in the cinema because of the director and had been eagerly anticipating it but in the end didn't know what to

He asked for some chords that were already in the song, to be repeated. Like you say: arranging.

It's three years later. I'm only just seeing TheOrville and reading these reviews. The Orville is passable television. Seth McFarlane is still awful.

Finally saw this today and I hated it. He dies and then two seconds later he’s in an android body that looks exactly the same? So incredibly cheap. Not much above having Victoria Principal wake up after having dreamt Picard had died.

Just saw it today. I thought it was, trash. Just too many stupid plot holes despite enjoying Stewart and Frakes being back in the saddle.

I didn’t like Discovery but this is worse to me because it’s so damned slow (and so stupidly, annoyingly dark, like they can’t afford light bulbs on their space ships of the future).

Finally saw this episode yesterday.Total shit. Series: total shit. I'll still watch EP 10 this week... but it'll be shit. Totally.
