The main arbiter of whether we should or should not listen to those children (or rather, young adults) is the quality of what they are saying. For CK to dismiss them because they are kids is as stupid as listening to Trump because he is an adult (in theory).

This is heresy. Leave Watchman alone, you can never improve on the way Alan Moore originally designed it!

You say that the Day After Tomorrow was the last good film he made, yet you also mention Zodiac, which came out three years later. Pardon the question but, are you crazy?

Like in Cronenberg’s (wildly overrated) eXistenZ over twenty years ago. And presumably, a million other things.

I am still enraged by this Brexit nonsense my country (Scotland) has been dragged into despite 60% of us voting to stay in the EU. Rot in hell, Rotten Tomatoes!

Fine. But I definitely didn’t suggest the primary was rigged and nor did the post I relied to. It just looks like it right now because of the unfortunate kinja layout. The comment I replied to was the one suggesting “Bernie would have smoked that orange bastard.”

Presumably she agrees that he wanted Obama for eight years then.

I don’t know. To be honest I think all you’ve proven of his type is, ‘in a red dress’.

The reason I think Sanders would have beaten Trump is not because Sanders would have appealed to racists, and I don’t think the logic necessarily follows. I think he would have won because he was less open to the kind of attack that appealed to Trump’s base (of racists, nut jobs and morons). As just one example, when

I concur, though I didn't think we were allowed to say so here, lest you be called  a BernieBro or some such.

Not a Bowie fan, but, cool. It’ll be interesting to look at from a historical perspective. The BBC have done some brilliant music documentaries over the past few years, often about artists whose music I’m personally not interested in.

Archive Just A Minute ruined forever.

When’s the Birdbox bus tour? I'm down for that.

I listened to Weezer’s Billie Jean cover and similarly, Cuomo was slavishly imitating Michael Jackson’s vocal patterns, including ‘hee-hee’ and such. It's the kinda thing that in concert, once as a surprise, might make you smile. On an album  to replayed.... it just is not worth listening to.

Just out of shot, Princess Leia in a bikini and chains.

Your work never fails to be an excellent read.

The Daily Star, like most British tabloids, is about five levels below the National Enquirer. It’s really not baffling that they thought they could fabricate speech attributed to a celebrity because they do it all the time, and have done so for years. And, you would think AVClub and others would know to take U.K.

I Want You Back was realeased as the first Jackson 5 single in 1970, when MJ was 11. It’s still young, and of course the band had gigged long before that, but calling him the face of a supergroup and breadwinner at 5 is stretching things.

I love Grace and Frankie, which is utterly hilarious, and I’m a male in my 30s.
