You say that, but the writing in terms of complexity and cleverness on Dangermouse, Count Duckula or Maid Marian and Her Merry Men, is far above the turgid obviousness of Big Bang Theory or Two and A Half Men (the same fucking show as BBM in a different skin).

Switch the volume to mute when you’re searching. In the absence of an option to stop the trailers playing, it’s an easy way to at least maintain some quiet.
