I think the video submitter is correct that many drivers would correctly judge, as the car did, that there was plenty of time and clearance for both car and pedestrian. This was NOT a panic brake moment, as the car judged the velocity of the human. Your article alleges “without evidence” as the kids say these days,

No, just no.

If there’s a single lesson that we should have learned since the dawn of the industrial revolution, it’s that no industry should be allowed to self-regulate. However this concept is dressed up, it inevitably leads to worse outcomes for humanity, the environment, and the economy.

Gotta get with the times jungle dwellers....The O Hongana Manyawa tribe should definitely qualify for a $7,500 tax credit from the Inflation Reduction Act. Nothing is free. Mining is dirty. Drilling for oil and processing it into fuel, oil, asphalt and chemicals is dirty. You trade one for the other. Excuse me while I

Ah yes, this is what I come to a car enthusiast blog to read about.

Well a 0-40mph time in the 7 second range and a 0-60 time in the 10-11 second range is roughly the performance of the 1st gen Prius, 1987 Honda Civic Wagovan I owned and the 1991 Ford Escort I owned.

My guess is that Lifehacker will eventually suffer the same fate at Twitter. People aren’t going to stand for this.

Almost $30,000 but “just about everyone can own.” You can’t be that out of touch with the financial state of a lot of people.

Found the Tim Cook bootlicker!

Why is it so bad that dealers are auctioning, but people that flip the cars aren’t getting dragged the same way? I’m no fan of dealers here, but if people are willing to pay, and going to pay, that’s just capitalism. If someone wants to pay more than you to cut, then they want the car more than you do, so you can wait.

Being old enough to have firsthand experience with the extraordinarily rapid cycle of tech obsolescence, only an ID 10 T would surgically insert a chip in their body.

These are very good changes.

There are shockingly few electric vehicles made or completed in North America

How about the brands just... Keep catering to the straight white cishets and y'know, not pretend to give a shit about us for 30 days a year. Fuckers.

We saw that DoD got a budget increase for this and we want in on that action.

Pride...hummm....tastes like...tastes like...marketing!

omg stop giving Sandy a platform. The guy is a fake know it all.

EV sales down in 2019 over 2018, but please, educate me about exponential growth.

It couldn’t possibly be that a large international corporation with product planners, accountants, etc could anticipate that even by 2020, EVs are ~2% of the market and fairly flat, and no company has been able to make a consistent profit building them?
