If my mother finally left after 58 years, I don’t know who would stay at this point.

The CUSA Marshall joined isn’t the same CUSA they have now. Their TV deal is absolute crap compared to the MAC’s deal. The teams in each conference are comparable now. I think a lot of Marshall fans would jump back to the MAC in a heartbeat. As an Ohio alum I would welcome it.
Southeast Ohio really should be in that new Appalachian state, too, but they probably wouldn’t want to go because muh Buckeyes. No, I’m not kidding.
The little brother, at that. My mother and father met there so I’m fond of Marshall despite graduating from Ohio, but come on.
I was horribly beaten to the Todd Margaret clip, ha

I’m anything but a contrarian for the sake of it. You’re entitled to your opinions. Cheers!
Oh. One of THOSE guys.
That match he had against Big Show a few weeks ago was great.
Roman’s fantastic and everyone needs to shut up about him. He won the Royal Rumble two years ago. Get over it.
Agree, Nia is terrible and when her music hits I groan. It feels like the crowd does, too.
She’s already a four-time champ, and everyone goes through periods of “cooling off.” Additionally WWE loves to humble talent to see how they’ll handle it. This does seem extreme, though. I don’t follow Internet wrestling newz anymore, it’s way more fun if you don’t.
Interesting, I think my school (Ohio) just did 1st team vs. 1st team with a lot of substitutions. I only went once, though. It was pretty lame as an event. The biggest draw at that time was the game-used uniform/gear sale.
“I want this, and I have a lot of money, so I should have this.” That seems to pretty much sum it up.
Circumstantial but.... Barnwell is close with Simmons. Simmons is close with Mike Lombardi. Lombardi was the Browns’ GM until 2014. Is it really that impossible to believe the Browns may have talked to Barnwell, or at least that Lombardi maybe clued someone still there into Barnwell being a potential resource? I guess…
Only driven through the northern panhandle, so not much experience there, no. I went to school in Ohio and OSU fans probably give UK fans a run for their money.
Alabama came to mind, as well, although I’ve never been there. Wife has family there, though. I’m sure I’ll get roped into it someday.
I was born in Kentucky and spent a lot of time there growing up. Out of every big school with a huge fanbase UK has to have the largest percentage of “diehard fans” who have never set foot on campus, much less attended a class as a student. I mean, it’s basically their pro team, and UK basketball is one of the main…
Hey there, my dad can call me whenever he wants, he just doesn’t.
I’m a Reds fan but lived in San Diego from 2005-2014. Now, the issue of 80% of your fanbase idolizing a team from the 1970s and hating the current product no matter how many games they win is a problem, but at least there’s some history there. At the start of Padres games they showed a “team history” highlight video…
